First of all, let’s understand the working principle of excavator:

The excavator is composed of three parts: the upper rotary body (engine, cab, etc.), the lower walking body (walking part) and the working device.

When the body stops, the hydraulic transmission system is used to transfer the power of the engine to the hydraulic motor, hydraulic cylinder and other executive components through the hydraulic pump to promote the action of the working device, so as to complete various operations.

The upper and lower part of the excavator is the use of the hydraulic system as the power source, through the hydraulic tubing connection and transmission, so in the excavator 360° rotation, these tubing can not be damaged, the central rotary joint parts play an important role 。

What is the crucial role of the central rotary joint in the 360 degree rotation of the excavator ？

The central rotary joint is mainly composed of an internal mandrel, an external shell and a rotating seal, etc. Tubing and grooves are provided on the shell and inside the mandrel, so that the oil inlet and the oil outlet correspond one to one.  At the same time, each oil channel is separated by a rotary seal, which is different from each other and does not interfere with each other. The shell is connected to the car pipeline, and the internal mandrel is connected to the car pipeline. When the oil circuit is pressurized and the central rotary joint works, the shell and the inner mandle-shaft will have relative motion, so it can turn freely in the circumferential range, so as to realize continuous rotation .
